First, puppies and kittens need lots of care early in life to protect them from illness and help them build up strength.
Secondly, adult dogs and cats benefit from yearly checkups to screen for disease and maintain their health.
Lastly, senior dogs and cats often have chronic health issues and therefore need to see their veterinarian regularly for exams, blood work, and other services.
