Dr. Ken Slossberg

Dr. Ken Slossberg joined the Wrigleyville team in 2021. He is a graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine where he earned a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree.

Prior to beginning his career as a Veterinarian, Dr. Slossberg earned a Masters of Architecture degree from Tulane University School of Architecture. He worked as an architect for many years before realizing his true passion for medicine combined with a genuine love of animals would make him a phenomenal veterinarian, and began taking steps to pursue a veterinary degree.

Dr. Slossberg is originally from West Hartford, Connecticut, but he has lived in many places throughout his career, including New Orleans, Boston, Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco, and a brief stint in Mexico City. He most recently practiced in Boca Raton, Florida, before relocating to the Chicago area to join the team at Wrigleyville Veterinary Center.

While Dr. Slossberg enjoys all aspects of being a veterinarian, he has a special interest in exotics care, in addition to the preventative medicine that helps keep pets happy and healthy.

His furry family consists of a Standard Poodle, Abby, an Old English Bulldog, Humphrey, and a cat with a very clever name: Kitty. In his free time, Dr. Slossberg is an avid oil painter who also enjoys traveling and exploring Chicago.
