Veterinary Technicians are an integral part of the team and work to support the veterinarian by providing outstanding care for our patients in all areas of the hospital. As a technician at Wrigleyville Veterinary Center, you can expect to fully utilize your technical skill set in an environment that is committed to teaching, training, and supporting our techs (while still having fun!).

Primary responsibilities include anesthetic monitoring, venipuncture and diagnostic sampling, laboratory procedures, generalized nursing care, and client communication. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quick to respond to medical emergencies, have a knack for problem-solving, fantastic communication skills, and a strong passion for veterinary medicine. Previous vet tech experience is required, and certification/licensure is preferred.

The Veterinary Assistant role at WVC is multi-faceted and provides support to all areas of the veterinary hospital. This position is responsible for assisting the veterinarians and technicians throughout their daily caseload, keeping the hospital and medical equipment clean, stocking supplies, and filling in wherever necessary to help ensure each patient receives outstanding medical care.

The ideal candidate will be a flexible, motivated team player who has experience with animal handling, restraint, and experience working in a medical setting.

Client Care Coordinators are responsible for ensuring each client has a fantastic experience at Wrigleyville Veterinary Center from start to finish, and we are in search of polished, professional candidates with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service to fill this role. Primary responsibilities include managing a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, maintaining organized electronic medical records, and making sure the lobby is a clean, comfortable place for visitors to wait.

The ideal candidate will pay great attention to detail and be an expert multitasker. Computer proficiency and outstanding people skills are a must for this position.
